Stripper - Definition, glossary, details

Stripper is a regeneration unit that removes CO2 from the amines in the post combustion carbon capture process. Amine based solvents are used to capture carbon dioxide from the flue gas stream. This unit can also be used to remove undesirable chemicals like hydrogen sulphide or other pollutants from the flue gas.
