Metal Absorbent - Definition, glossary, details

Those solid materials containing metals that can chemically absorb and desorb CO2 in a regenerable cycle is known as metal absorbents. The amount of energy used in CO2 capture using metal absorbents is less compared to conventional water based amine absorbent because they are dry and water does not have to be heated up and cooled down in the absorption/ desorption cycle.
