California Climate Action Registry (CCAR) - Definition, glossary, details
CCAR is a non-profit organization formed by the
California state. This would serve as a voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) registry
to promote actions to reduce GHG emissions by organizations. The California
registry provides leadership on climate change by developing and promoting

organizations to measure, monitor and thereby reduce their GHG emissions
consistently across industry sectors and geographical borders.
