Above ground CO2 storage - Definition, glossary, details
The storage of CO2 in plants and trees in forest areas
excluding those stored in roots and soil is referred as above-ground CO2
storage. In a typical forest, nearly 80% of the carbon stored is above ground
surface, while in grasslands only 10% is stored above the ground.
